Transversal- Two lines that are crossed by another line.
Slope- the direction of a line.
Supplementary angles- A pair of angles whose sum of their measurement is 180 degrees.
Alternate Exterior Angles- The outer opposite angles of a transversal.
Alternate Interior Angles- The inner opposite angles of a transversal.
Consecutive Interior Angles- The inner pairs of angles on one side of the transversal.
Corresponding Angles- angles that have the same position in a transversal, these angles are equal.
Vertical Angles- two angles whose sides form two pairs of opposite rays. The vertical angles are always congruent.
Parallel lines-lines that are coplanar and do not intersect, and have the same slope.
Perpendicular lines- Pair of intersecting lines that form a right angle at the intersection.
Skew lines- lines that do not intersect and are not coplanar, may have different slopes.
